Dear Valued Customers,
Well here it is early October and it seems that we are having an amazing Indian Summer. October has long been one of my favorite months in the Upper Arkansas River Valley. As I look out the window and type this letter the leaves along the Arkansas here in Downtown Salida are at their peak. Snow on the mountains reminds us that soon we will be coming into winter. All in all its one of the most beautiful times of the year and one of the best to get out and enjoy the mild, dry weather. But in between all the fun fall activities (or during) don't forget to stop by and pick up your favorite libations. Our palates may be craving darker and more hardy drinks, but the weather is telling us it's still OK to enjoy the lighter drinks which can be more refreshing on these warm days of fall. Either way we have something for every palate on the October Jugalicious Newsletter. Come on down and check it out! As always we would like to thank you for your continued patronage for without all of your business we would have no business. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you this month at "The Jug."
Sincerely,
The Staff at Arlie Dale's Jug Liquor

Jugalicious One Year Anniversary!!!
Dear Valued Customers:
I can hardly believe it! This marks the One Year Anniversary of the "Jugalicious" Monthly Newsletter. It's amazing to me that this is the 12th time I have sat in front of my computer and typed the monthly greeting. I know my jokes have gotten worse each month, but hopefully you are still enjoying the specials. Speaking of specials, this month we have added an extra page to the newsletter to celebrate its birthday. What that means is this September at Arlie Dale's Jug Liquors is that all our customers will be able to take advantage of twice as many specials as usual...including some awesome deals in our "Connoisseurs' Corner," where you will find wine not available anywhere else in the upper Arkansas Valley!
This summer has been rainy, hot and buys. Thanks to all of you we have had our best summer yet here in downtown Salida and this newsletter could not come at a more perfect time because it celebrates the customers that keep us going the other nine months out of the year. This past weekend we were all reminded of the cool days of fall soon to be approaching. Everything is pointing that direction, the kids are back in school, rafting business has come and gone, the Powder Magazine buyers guide is out and some hunting seasons have already begun. Now is one of my favorite times to get out and enjoy our valley without all the hustle and bustle of our busy summer season. So my message to all of you is to get out and enjoy it! Soon the days will be short and the weather cold. In your spare time come down to the Jug and take advantage of all the September specials. Thank you all so much for your continued patronage, it's a pleasure for all of us to serve you in whatever your libation needs might be.
Sincerely,
The staff at Arlie Dale's Jug Liquors

Undoubtedly we have some cold days left and possibly even the biggest snowfall of the year could be yet to come. (Remember early May 2001 when Salida Hot Springs Pool's roof caved in...) Keeping that in mind we have something for any kind of weather this May at "The Jug." Warm weather white wine and beer specials to help beat the heat on a warm day. Heavy reds and/or whats left of the winter brews for a cool evening dinner. Top that off with tequila specials for any party budget and you got it. We'll have it all this month at "Arlie Dale's Jug Liquors" come check it out! Thanks to all ya'll for your continued patronage and we look foward to seeing all ya'll in May.
Sincerely,
All us at Arlie Dale's Jug Liquors
